Our Mission
Kare Plan is a family-run organisation. Therefore, we know how vital it is to trust someone to care for your loved ones. With our empathic team of carers and office support, we want to make a difference. Our home help carers are vetted, certified and fully trained in home care.
Our Training School and training courses are devised for carers, families & family carers to provide information and skills that aid for our clients.
The quality of care is consistently maintained with our monitoring system. This system monitors our carers’ attendance and status to secure that care is continuously provided.
Communication is key at Kare Plan. Our supervisors make planned visits to your home to confirm processes are running smoothly. We will update you on any changes to your care plan.
Our Charity Work
October 2024
At Kare Plan, we are committed to supporting meaningful causes, and this October, we are excited to announce our participation in the “100 Miles in October” challenge for the Irish Hospice Foundation. This initiative encourages individuals and teams to walk 100 miles during the month of October, raising vital funds to support the foundation’s mission of providing end-of-life care and bereavement support across Ireland.
October 2024
This Halloween, Kare Plan’s office came alive with spooky costumes and festive spirit as our team dressed up to support the Trick or Treat for Sick Children fundraiser. Staff members embraced the Halloween fun, donning creative and quirky costumes, all while raising funds for a cause close to our hearts.
November 2022
Last year our client care coordinator, Dean, partook in a brilliant initiative known as Movember. For those that are unaware, Movember is a leading charity that focuses on improving men’s overall health worldwide. From aiding men with their mental health to providing funds for life-changing projects with testicular cancer, Movember is a great charity that Dean advocates for.
Again for 2022, Dean & Carlos will be raising funds for Movember. Aside from raising funds, they will also look to grow the very best moustache they can produce. If you would like to donate please click here. Any amount that you are able to spare would be massively appreciated.
Trick or Treat for Temple Street
We dusted off our best costumes for this spooktacular, annual event. We raised funds for Children’s Healthcare Ireland who are responsible for helping sick children in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. We would like to thank all the staff who donated. We know that the donations will make a big difference for those in need.
The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland’s Christmas Jumper Day 2021
Who’s naughty and who’s nice?
Our staff donated money towards a good cause whilst being joyful. We were very merry in our festive tops for our Christmas Jumper Day for The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland. It is after all, the most wonderful time of the year.

Dublin Scheduler Dean Doyle
Dean partook in Movember 2021. He cited men’s physical and mental health as his motivation to fundraise for Movember. Dean grew a slick moustache for the month of November. He raised over €500 for November alone. Check out his full motive on our news page.

Homelessness Help 2019
This winter of 2019 Kare Plan is collecting clothing and other much needed items for the Simon Community charity. The Simon Community is celebrating 50 years of helping the homeless in Ireland. Each month the Department of Housing shares its statistics of how many people are homeless in the country. Currently over 10300 people are without a home with almost four thousand of those people being children.
In each of Kare Plans offices across the country we are collecting a number of items that are in high need for people without a home. Anyone can stop by and donate whatever they can to help make the cold season a little easier.
"Giving is not just about the donation, it is about making a difference" - Kathy Calvin
We work with numerous charities throughout the year; raising funds, raising awareness and providing them with as much support as possible. We have been so fortunate to not only work with them all but to also be given the platform to give back.
It has been a pleasure to work with all of the charities and look forward to our future work together.
